Russia closed the Novoshakhtinsk and Donetsk checkpoints on the border with Ukraine

As the RIA-Novosti agency reports, citing a paramedic at a refugee camp located on our side of the border, in the Rostov region, bullets also flew there from the Ukrainian side. One civilian, he is a Russian citizen, was wounded in the chest. And later, several dozen Ukrainian border guards crossed into Russian territory and asked for protection.

“On the evening of June 20, more than 80 Ukrainian border guards crossed through the Ukrainian checkpoint Izvarino into Russian territory, including two wounded. They were provided with the necessary medical care, and the Russian side took additional measures to cover this section of the border,” Vasily Malaev, head of the press service of the FSB of the Russian Federation for the Rostov region, told reporters.
