As the indignant employees of the post pointed out, for each passenger car with contraband, Lenin transferred 150–200 euros to Mushegu, and from 3,000 to 10,000 dollars for trucks.

But, apparently, the letters still had an effect, since in 2018 the same Tovmasyan was under arrest as part of a criminal case against Lieutenant Colonel of the North-Western Directorate for Transport of the Investigative Committee Roman Rusakov, who was arrested in St. Petersburg in a bribery case 5 million rubles. By a strange coincidence, today the same name appears as the deputy head of the Brusnichnoye international checkpoint. It is possible that there are a lot of customs officers with similar surnames in the North-Western Territory. However, something else is alarming.
