The International Customs Forum will be held on October 24-25 at the International Trade Center (Krasnopresnenskaya embankment, 12, Moscow). WTC is one of the largest multi-profile business complexes in Russia, located in the center of Moscow, in close proximity to the Kremlin, the House of the Government of the Russian Federation and the Moscow Government building.
International Customs Forum takes place at WTC Moscow
The key mission of the forum is to create an effective platform for the exchange of experience, interaction between the state and the business community in order to develop foreign economic activity (FEA). The general partner of the ITF-2021 is Gazprombank, the strategic partners are Rosselkhozbank and the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization Mosprom, the general information partners are Izvestia MIC and Rossiyskaya Gazeta.
The forum participants, who traditionally gather to exchange experiences and dialogue on the development of foreign trade, discuss new initiatives in the field of foreign trade and customs administration, will have a busy business program: a plenary session, thematic sessions, round tables and other events. Also on the sidelines of the event there is a modern interactive exhibition.
The speakers of the Forum annually are members of the Government of Russia, the leadership of the Ministry of Finance of Russia, the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, the Federal Customs Service of Russia and the Federal Tax Service of Russia, other government bodies, representatives of Russian and foreign customs organizations and business circles, and leaders of the business community.
This year, discussions will develop around priority issues on the agenda of the state and business - the use of modern technologies and the digital transformation of foreign trade. Experts will discuss the introduction of artificial intelligence and advanced information technologies, improvement of electronic services for business, support for exports to the Russian Federation, trends and prospects for the development of online commerce, ecosystems as a new type of digitalization of foreign trade activities, development of the transit potential of the EAEU and other relevant topics.
One of the key events of the second day of the ITF-2021 business program will be the Plenary session on the topic “International trade and customs administration in a global world,” which will be attended by First Deputy Head of the Federal Customs Service of Russia Ruslan Davydov

During the Plenary session, participants will discuss the role of the World Customs Organization as a regulator of global trade and will touch upon issues of integration in the EAEU space, as well as consider issues of further development of customs authorities, taking into account the growing volumes of online trade, transit traffic and the emergence of new logistics hubs. Particular attention will be paid to the modernization of the transport infrastructure of the Russian Federation in accordance with the main strategic directions for the development of the customs service until 2030.

that participants are admitted to the ITF 2021 site only if they have a negative PCR test result, wear respiratory protection (masks, respirators) and after treating their hands with skin antiseptics. Masks must be replaced by participants every 2 hours while on the site. The necessary tools will be available free of charge to all participants.

The International Customs Forum will be held in Moscow on October 21-22
The International Customs Forum will be held on October 21-22, 2021. The venue will be the International Trade Center (Moscow). Representatives of government authorities and businesses involved in foreign economic activity are invited to participate in the forum.
The organizer was the Federal Customs Service. As reported on the forum’s official website, the ITF is a new format of the annual Customs Service exhibition, held since 1999. It is intended to become a meeting place for Russian and foreign experts in the field of foreign economic activity. At the forum they will be able to exchange experiences and discuss new initiatives in the field of foreign trade and customs administration.
Traditionally, the leadership of the Government of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Finance of Russia, the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, the Federal Tax Service of Russia and other federal authorities, as well as representatives of the business community and foreign customs administrations, take part in the events.
About two and a half thousand participants from 32 countries are expected. A rich business program is provided for them and a modern interactive exhibition exposition has been prepared, which will provide an opportunity to get acquainted with the most advanced areas of improving customs administration. As part of the business program, leading experts will give speeches on various aspects of customs regulation, and those interested will be able to ask questions and take part in discussions and round tables.
For entrepreneurs engaged in foreign economic activity in the field of goods and services for children, sessions related to the digitalization of foreign trade, support for exports in Russia, electronic services for business, labeling and the national system of traceability of goods will be of interest. In particular, on October 21, from 12.30 in the press hall, a round table “The role and place of customs authorities in the fight against counterfeit and illegally traded products” will be held, where there will be a discussion of the interaction of copyright holders with customs authorities, international customs cooperation and interdepartmental interaction on protection issues rights to intellectual property. And on October 22, the First Deputy Head of the Federal Customs Service of Russia will speak at a panel discussion on promising digital technologies in the field of international customs administration, who will talk about data management and digitalization of customs clearance, which are now key factors in the development of international trade.

Over 2.3 thousand participants attended the International Customs Forum 2019
Moscow, October 31. The International Customs Forum 2019 was held in Moscow at the International Trade Center. The forum was attended by over 2,300 participants: representatives of government authorities and members of the Russian business community, more than 150 representatives of foreign delegations from 32 countries, four international organizations; over 50 journalists from 30 business and specialized media.
As part of the main program of the Forum, more than 40 business events, presentations and master classes took place. Participating in the events were the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation - Minister of Finance Anton Siluanov, the leadership of the Ministry of Finance of Russia, the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, the Federal Tax Service of Russia, other executive authorities, representatives of foreign customs organizations, including the Deputy Head of the General Customs Administration of the People's Republic of China Wang Lingjun, Director for International and general issues of the European Commission Directorate General for Taxation and Customs Union Sabine Henzler, as well as leaders from the business community.
The key event of the Forum’s business program was the plenary session “Customs 2030: the trajectory of the future,” during which the Customs Service Development Strategy until 2030 was presented to the public.
Participants of the International Customs Forum 2019 also discussed the development of the institution of customs representatives, the integration of technical regulation mechanisms within the EAEU, measures to support exports in Russia, the reform of customs authorities, improving the process of administering customs payments, regulating online trade, developing international cooperation with the countries of the European Union, issues of out-of-court resolution of customs disputes and combating the circulation of counterfeit products, prospects for the development of the AEO institution, improvement of information systems of customs authorities and others.
During the Forum, international documents were signed, including a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Trade of Turkey on the exchange of statistical data on mutual trade, a memorandum with the Financial Administration of Slovakia on cooperation in the field of preventing the movement of nuclear materials and radioactive substances through air checkpoints. An agreement was signed with the customs service of Tajikistan to counteract questionable financial transactions by participants in foreign trade activities and a protocol on the exchange of documents and information on the customs value of goods.
Master classes were held on working with the services of the Personal Account of a participant in foreign trade activities, the ATA Mercury II carnet digitalization system and interactive simulators for training IDK operators were presented.
