Smolensk CED - contact information
Smolensk CED is the electronic declaration center of Smolensk customs.
It is located in the village of Stabna, Smolensk district, Smolensk region. Smolensk EDC, like other electronic declaration centers, is a completely new type of organization of work at customs posts. It is also subordinate to the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation, but, unlike traditional customs posts, it is not limited territorially. The Smolensk CED has the right to provide services for customs clearance of goods on the territory of any customs post of the Smolensk customs. This became possible thanks to the wider use of modern technologies compared to traditional customs posts, as well as the latest methods of declaring goods - preliminary declaration, electronic customs declaration. However, EDC services are not available to all participants in foreign economic activity (FEA) - electronic declaration centers can clear customs only those cargoes that belong to legal entities and individual entrepreneurs. To use the services of the EDC, a foreign trade participant must register as a legal entity. persons or individual entrepreneurs. Individuals carry out customs clearance of goods at traditional customs posts. In total, it is planned to create 16 EDCs - 8 regional, 2 regional, 6 specialized.
