HomeCustoms clearancePlaces of clearance CED Privolzhsky CED

IMPORTANT: We help to carry out prompt customs clearance of goods at the CED, but our company is not a CED!

Privolzhsky EDC is an electronic declaration center located in Nizhny Novgorod. This customs post was created on October 24, 2018, and is subordinate to the Volga Electronic Customs of the Volga Customs Administration (PTU) of the Federal Customs Service of Russia. CED Nizhny Novgorod is a modern customs authority that replaced the now abolished Bashkortostan Electronic Declaration Center (10401090) of the Volga Federal District. Privolzhsky CED uses the latest technologies for remote electronic declaration and carries out customs clearance of any goods at any customs post of the PTU of the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation.

The location of the Privolzhsky CED is the city of Nizhny Novgorod, Rodionova Street, 65, Nizhny Novgorod Customs. This is the business and industrial center of the region's capital. Therefore, it is not surprising that the Volga customs post is sometimes called the Nizhny Novgorod Center for Electronic Declaration, or the Nizhny Novgorod Electronic Declaration Center.

Privolzhsky CED carries out customs clearance of any types of goods, for example, timber, lumber, excise goods, food, meat, meat products, consumer goods, and many others.

The Volga Electronic Declaration Center releases goods at the customs posts of the following customs offices:

Is it possible to study to become a customs officer after 9th grade?

State educational standards stipulate that this specialty belongs to the field of higher professional education. Therefore, it will not be possible to become a customs specialist after 9th grade.

BUT! You can start studying this business after finishing 9th grade. You can study the basics of customs craft in secondary specialized educational institutions that have departments of foreign economic activity and logistics.

If you go to college for customs after 9th grade, the training period will be 3 years. After this, the student will receive education in a specialty (for example, in the field of logistics or foreign economic activity), as well as basic knowledge of the specialty of a customs officer.

Colleges with a specialty in customs affairs in Moscow and St. Petersburg

This specialty is available in almost all colleges with a focus on logistics and foreign economic activity. But there are only 2 separate technical schools aimed at training customs officers:

  1. Capital Business College (Moscow). Specialty: customs management.
  2. NOU "College of Information Technologies" (St. Petersburg).

Customs is a specialty for both boys and girls. There is both routine and risks here. Interestingly, about 40% of customs officers are women. This may be due to the high level of scrupulousness when working with documentation. Girls are also better than men at passing tests for stress resistance, punctuality, diplomacy and communication skills.

Interesting fact: women are better than men in resisting corruption
Students of customs specialties undergo internships at airports and other customs zones, in cargo customs clearance companies. This is where they can get a complete picture of what their working day will consist of.

Well, after practice, they will certainly have a long and hard study, in which the student assistance service will undoubtedly always help.
