How to clear a car through customs?
Legally, customs clearance of cars is regulated by the OSVE regulations dated August 12, 2011, according to which both parties must ensure simplified registration of a vehicle after crossing the border zone.
This procedure is also supported by the following legal acts:
- Appendix 5 to the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union on wheeled transport.
- Article 62 of the EAEU Labor Code.
- Article 16.10 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation.

In accordance with the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of July 30, 2014 N 714, from August 12, 2014, changes were made to paragraph 2.2 of the Traffic Rules, which oblige drivers of vehicles with foreign license plates to carry with them “documents provided for by customs legislation with the appropriate marks of the customs authorities "

- In 2021, in Armenia, for cars no older than 3 years and with a price of no more than 8,500 euros, a rate of 54% or 2.5 euros per cm³ of engine volume will apply.
- For the price category of 8500-16700 € there will be a rate of 48% of the cost of the vehicle or 3.5 euros per 1 cm³ of engine volume.
- For an invoice of 16700-42300 € – 48% or 5.5 euros per “cube”.
- For premium cars (from 169,000 €) the percentages are the same, but the “cube” will cost 20 €.
