Beltamozhservice opens the first transport and logistics center on the border with Lithuania

February 28, Minsk / Corr. BELTA/. On March 1, RUE Beltamozhservice is opening a new transport and logistics center near the republican checkpoint Kamenny Log, BelTA was told at the enterprise.

The transport and logistics center is located on the 147th km of the M7 Minsk - Lithuanian border - Vilnius highway, which is of international importance and is part of the 9th trans-European transport corridor. The new center corresponds to the European level and allows for the maximum implementation of comprehensive services for transit cargo, thereby attracting foreign forwarders to cooperation, the company noted.

The operating procedure of the TLC involves the use of innovative technologies, including the movement of vehicles from “Kamenny Log” to the territory of the center using transit-free technology.

TLC "Kamenny Log - Beltamozhservice" will become the first object of cross-border logistics infrastructure on the route of goods and vehicles from Lithuania. A departmental customs clearance point with modern infrastructure and customs technologies will be opened in the center; also, for the convenience of all participants in foreign economic activity, a branch of the branch of JSC JSB Belarusbank and an inspection for seed production, quarantine and plant protection will operate.
